Mikes
consultancy introduces a unique new cleaning management system
that helps customers improve cleaning standards and reduce
costs, regardless of whether they use contract cleaning services
or an in-house team. It is a modular system based on industry
accepted best practice procedures and is the only system endorsed
by the British Institute of Cleaning Science standards.
Clients
are able to use some or all of four different modules including:
Module
1 includes a full site survey to identify site-specific
cleaning requirements with a summary listing cleaning frequencies
and task completion time expectancies in line with latest
industry guidelines. This allows organisations to determine
how much time it should really take to clean its buildings
to predetermined quality levels.
Module
2 provides a complete financial breakdown and analysis
of the total anticipated cleaning costs for the site, whether
contracted or in-house, which can be used for benchmarking
across different sites and provides an ideal tool to measure
costs against quality to determine best value.
Module
3 supports clients in the implementation of necessary
policies and procedures to meet legal requirements, streamline
operations and to help maintain the health and safety of cleaning
personnel. Services include pictogram based method statements,
site-specific risk assessments and COSHH assessments for example.
Module
4 offers a variety of low cost management tools and training
aimed at helping clients to retain and develop the skills
of their staff. Ongoing contract support through monitoring
and auditing systems ensures consistent and efficient service
delivery.
Elements
of the each module can also be used to perform the entire
tender management process ensuring that all cleaning contractors
quote to clean to the same objective standards.
The
system can be tailored for use in commercial buildings of
all types including offices, education, retail, healthcare,
transport, accommodation, food preparation and leisure.
