Hi, my name is Sherri and I like to learn. I know you are probably thinking, “okay, that’s nice.” But I am serious. I am one of those folks who thinks learning and knowledge is power. I was raised this way, and this is the way I raised my own children. But I think what differs me from others is that I believe there is learning in everything, from going to school to dreaming. This might sound strange or weird, but if you think about it, you will see that it is true. Let me give you an example, if you are relaxing, just laying across your bed, what are you thinking about? What is the first thing that pops into your mind? Here is the important question to ask yourself, why is THIS what I am thinking about? Why do I find it important that I should be thinking about this?

This is something that I have been a big advocate about…getting knowledge from everyone, everywhere, everything. You can get an education or knowledge from any place and at any time. I remember once I lived next door to a couple that, how can I say this politely, they were two very undesirable individuals (nastiest attitudes EVER). I told an elder neighbor about these two, and I also told him that as I try to get along with everyone, I had no desire to even be in the presence of these two. I said, “I get nothing out of living next door to them.” My elderly neighbor replied, “Yes, you do. You know how you don’t want to act.”

Enough said!

Sherri
